  • Cleveland State University: M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling M.Ed. in School Counseling. The Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program is a 60 semester-hour, CACREP-accredited program that meets the academic requirements for licensure as a Professional Counselor (PC) in the State of Ohio. Our program offers a strong clinical base for students to work in a variety of clinical mental health settings that range from community-based agencies and private practice to employee assistance programs. Cleveland State University’s counseling graduate program meets the clinical competencies outlined in the Ohio Counselor license law.
  • Franciscan University of Steubenville: M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This two-year graduate program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Of the Franciscan students who took the National Counselor Examination, required by most states for independent licensing, 100 percent passed in the last three years. This hands-on counseling degree features internships and practicums so you’re prepared for a wide range of counseling jobs in a variety of settings or to pursue your PhD after graduation.
  • Heidelberg University: M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
