Delaware MFT Programs

One of the top accreditation services when looking for a higher education degree within MFT is the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE). This organization thoroughly reviews Master's degrees, PhDs, and post-graduate education.

They determine if the curriculum and faculty workers have set high standards and will fully prepare students for working with patients with respect to diverse cultures and ethical responsibility.

At this time, there are no programs in the state of Delaware that have accreditation. Review the list of online MFT programs here.

Students that are looking for a COAMFTE-accredited degree are not out of luck just because there are no programs available in the state. Delaware is in the heart of the massive amount of job opportunities throughout the Northeastern portion of the United States. This means there are many educational areas to consider, especially in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

The University of Maryland offers a Master's degree in the field of marriage and family therapy. For students that are not able to travel to any of these destinations, there is a possibility to pursue an online program.

Syracuse University offers a program that requires on-campus residency for a small period of time, but the general coursework is completed online while students take clinical practicum sessions at approved health care centers. Students must have proper technology requirements in order to take an online degree.
