Although New Mexico doesn't offer any accredited online degree programs in Counseling, students in New Mexico have three major universities to choose from.

New Mexico Highlands University offers an accredited on campus traditional program in Counseling with a concentration Rehabilitation Counseling. Located in popular Las Vegas, New Mexico, this accredited university may have what you are looking for to advance your career and further your education in the counseling field. The other accredited university in New Mexico that offers a Master's in Counseling is the University of New Mexico located in the booming city of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Classes are offered on a traditional campus with the flexibility of attending classes during the day, evening or nights. This makes convenient options for working adults and parents. New Mexico Southern University is located in Las Cruces.

It is an accredited university offering an MA in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health. Students can choose from living in the biggest city in New Mexico or attend on a campus in that is less crowded and slower paced.
